Just because you are living on a budget doesn’t mean that you can’t still enjoy nutritional and tasty meals! To help save those precious pennies and keep on budget it’s a good idea to always make a list before venturing to the shops to stock up on ingredients. Supermarkets have developed highly efficient ways to relieve you of your hard earned cash, by making a list (and sticking to it) you can avoid being dawn in to making any unnecessary purchases.

It is also a good idea to stock up on non-perishable supplies such as tinned, frozen and dried foods. Once you have these basics stocks you can then workout a budget for any fresh foods you wish to purchase. There’s nothing worse than throwing away rotten food so only buy as much as you need!

Another great way to save money is to do your cooking in bulk. Once cooked most meals can then be frozen for a quick an easy meal when you need it most. Be sure to cook up a few different meals in bulk do you don’t end up eating the same meal every day of the week. Remember variety is the spice of life!
