With Reading Festival only a few months away we can officially start to get excited about the prospect of seeing some of the world’s best live artists here in Reading. With Kings of Leon, the Kooks, Kendrick Lamar, the Vaccines and the Wombats set to headline the festival it should be another great year for music fans alike.
However, with the Festival still some way off there’s plenty of live music here in Reading to get your teeth into. Reading has long been known as a hotbed for live music and emerging artists, with a variety of venues and music genres on display there is something for everyone.

28th April 2018 – Are you Listening Festival
The festival returns for the 6th year running having already been nominated for two ‘Pride of Reading’ awards. Since launching in 2013, the one-day festival has raised more than £40,000 for Reading Mencap, a local charity that supports people with Learning Disabilities and their families. The festival takes place across numerous venues in Reading and hosts a variety of emerging acts. 4th May 2018 – Lower than Atlantis – Venue SUB 89
